My name is Karla Ibanez, I am a west coast girl with a southern heart who has a passion for Natrual hair. I started braiding hair at the age of 13, I specialized in box braids, micro braids and sewing in weaves. I moved to Atlanta, GA when I was 26 and I Loc’d my hair. Loc-in/ Dreading my hair had to be the best thing I have ever done in my life. The maintenance was low and I would then learn a new skill to maintain what I had started. My passion for hair grew stronger. Let’s fast forward to Houston, Tx. Where I opened my Loc Lounge! The name of my salon is LaReina Sol Essentials Loc Lounge. LaReina means Queen in Spanish. Opening my salon allowed me to express my joy for Natrual hair. I love meeting new people, and I love creating an experience for my customers. I would describe my salon as a fun, vibrant, intimate and relaxed. Getting to know my clients is important to me! I am looking for the opportunity to service my community one Natrual head at a time. We provide the Sunshine in their life and I love every bit of it.
